Join Outdoor Adventures for a 3 day adventure through one of Alaska's most coveted hikes: The Bomber Traverse. This trip includes transportation, food, guides, and all necessary equipment. Come explore the breathtaking views of high peaks, glaciers, and alpine topography. This is not a beginner hike. Expect long days, significant miles each day, and difficult topography.
Schedule
July 16th - Pre trip meeting, food preferences, and gear assignment
July 18th - Meet at Outdoor Adventures. Get outfitted with gear and drive down to Hatcher Pass. Camp in Hatcher Pass.
July 19th - Hike 8 miles, climbing 2000+ feet, from the parking lot to Mint Hut.
July 20th - Hike about 6 miles, climbing 2000+ feet, from the Mint Hut to the Bomber Hut.
July 21st - Hike about 10 miles, Descending 3000+ feet, from the Bomber Hut to the parking lot.
July 22nd - Pack up camp. Drive back to Fairbanks.

Reminder, this is not a beginner trip. Expect significant elevation gain, route finding, side hilling, glacial travel, and rough trails. Despite a summer trip, expect the possibility of snow and wintery conditions.
