R1 forum to detail workshop results
November 13, 2024
Chancellor Dan White will host an R1 forum on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 1-2 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall and online via UAF's YouTube channel. The event will focus on the results of the recent R1 strategy workshop that drew more than 60 UAF students and employees. The forum will include time for audience questions. All members of the UAF community are encouraged to attend.

Mental Health First Aid training Nov. 22

The White Mountains provide beautiful scenery and cross-country skiing is a great way to get out and stay active in the winter months. This XC ski trip on Nov. 16 is definitely beginner-friendly, but it shouldn't be your first time on skis due to the terrain.

Power to head bolt outlets on campus

As temperatures drop in the Interior, Facilities Services has activated the head bolt outlets. Please note that we operate the HBOs on a cycle of one hour on and one hour off when temperatures range between 20°F and -25°F. When temperatures fall below -25°F, we will keep the HBOs on continuously.
