    At 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2022, hundreds of thousands of people will "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" in The Great Alaska ShakeOut, the state's largest earthquake drill ever! Participation can be as simple as a one-minute "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" training. All colleges and universities are encouraged to participate (or plan a more extensive exercise).

Academic courses from summer 2019 and earlier are slated for removal from UA Bb Learn on Oct. 28, 2022, and will no longer be accessible. This is routine maintenance for UA Bb Learn and does not interfere with UAF’s switch to Canvas LMS by summer 2024.
